What does a LAX to LA Convention Center car service cost?

Every LAX to LA Convention Center car service cost comes from three things: the address you give, the vehicle class you pick and any extras you add. The LAX to LA Convention Center cost does not move with the traffic on the day, and you see the whole figure before you pay. Across the cluster we priced — the Convention Center, Crypto.com Arena, L.A. LIVE, the two L.A. LIVE hotels, the arena drop-off zone and Hotel Figueroa — sedans came to $139–$141 and SUVs to $165–$167, rounded up to the dollar and before gratuity.

Estimates are planning guides. Your exact pickup time, address, vehicle and requested extras determine the confirmed total shown before payment.

What changes your fare to the venue

  • The address you book. A hall, an arena gate and a hotel on the next block are three separate addresses, and each carries its own price.
  • The vehicle class, since a luxury SUV is priced above an executive sedan.
  • An extra stop, charged for the distance and the minutes it adds.
  • Waiting past the free 60 minutes after landing, at $1 per minute, plus child seats from $25 each and a $25 pet fee.
  • Traffic. We priced the Convention Center for a Tuesday at 11 AM and again for a Friday at 5 PM and got the same figure to the cent. Surge pricing is never applied.

Typical, per Google Maps

How long is the drive from LAX to the Convention Center?

We measured two points with the Google Routes API: the Los Angeles Convention Center at 1201 S Figueroa St, and Hotel Figueroa at 939 S Figueroa St, the farthest address we priced. Every range below is typical, per Google traffic estimates.

Landing late at night or at midday gave the shortest run in; a Tuesday at 5 PM gave the longest.

The venue district → LAX

The LA Convention Center to LAX drive below was measured from 1201 S Figueroa St for a Tuesday, plus one Friday afternoon reading, by Interstate 110 South and Interstate 105 West.

The shortest run out was at 3:30 AM and the longest at 7:00 AM in the Tuesday readings.

The two directions peak at different hours. The longest run into the district was a Tuesday at 5 PM, at 35 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes; the longest run back out was a Tuesday at 7:00 AM, at 30–55 minutes. An exhibitor who lands at 5 PM and flies home at 9 AM meets both.

Drive times are typical, per Google traffic estimates from the Google Routes API, checked on October 10, 2026 for a Tuesday, a Friday and a Saturday. Hall entrances, the Pico Boulevard closure and the arena drop-off zones come from the venues' own websites. Prices come from iRide360's own booking engine, are fixed at booking, include tolls and taxes, and exclude the optional gratuity.

Departures

When should I leave for a convention hall, an arena event or my flight?

A convention day runs to its own clock, so these times are built around doors and start times rather than a commuter rush hour. Each pickup below takes the slow end of the measured drive for that hour and adds a stated 20-minute safety buffer. For flights home, allow two hours at LAX for a domestic departure and three for an international one. For a 1:00 PM domestic flight the day after a show closes, book your pickup in the district for about 9:55 AM.

  • Arriving: to be inside for a 10:00 AM show-floor opening, book your LAX pickup for about 9:05 AM; for an 8:00 AM exhibitor load-in, about 6:35 AM; and for a 1:00 PM midday session or keynote, about 12:05 PM.
  • Arriving: for a 7:30 PM weekday arena event, book your LAX pickup for about 6:00 PM; for a Friday evening event or concert starting at 8:00 PM, about 6:40 PM; and for a 2:00 PM weekend convention or matinee, about 12:55 PM.
  • Every time here, arriving and departing, already includes a 20-minute safety buffer on top of the measured drive.
  • Your chauffeur drops you at your airline's departures curb and handles the cases at both ends.
  • A Crypto.com Arena to LAX pickup, or one from a hall or a campus hotel, includes 15 minutes of free wait.
  • Booking an after-show pickup? Doors and load-out run late. Give dispatch the realistic time on (833) 743-3360.
  • Treat these times as a guide. Your airline's check-in rules come first.

LA Convention Center coverage

Where we drop you in the Convention Center district

A Los Angeles Convention Center car service has to land on the right block, because the halls, the arena and the hotels all have separate addresses. Here is what we know about each.

Los Angeles Convention Center — West Hall

1201 South Figueroa Street, 90015. West Hall fronts South Figueroa Street between 12th Street and Pico Boulevard. Its garage entrance is reachable from L.A. Live Way only.

Los Angeles Convention Center — South Hall

The second exhibit hall, nearly 350,000 square feet of column-free space. The venue sends South Hall visitors to the South Hall Parking Garage, because the Pico Boulevard side is closed.

Crypto.com Arena

1111 South Figueroa Street, 90015. The arena names two white-zone drop-off areas: Chick Hearn Court eastbound between L.A. Live Way and Georgia Street, and Figueroa Street southbound between 12th Street and Pico. Tell us which one you want when you book a LAX to Crypto.com Arena ride.

L.A. LIVE

800 West Olympic Boulevard, 90015, across from Crypto.com Arena at the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Figueroa Street. A LAX to LA LIVE ride, or an L.A. LIVE car service back to the airport, uses the same two white zones.

Peacock Theater

777 Chick Hearn Court, 90015. The theater publishes the same two white-zone drop-off areas as the arena.

JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE

900 West Olympic Boulevard, 90015, one of the five hotels L.A. LIVE lists on its own campus.

The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles

900 West Olympic Boulevard, 90015, also on the L.A. LIVE campus.

Hotel Figueroa

939 South Figueroa Street, 90015, on the same street as the arena and the Convention Center. The hotel's own directions from LAX finish by turning left onto South Figueroa Street. It was the farthest address we priced.

Any other address in 90015

Every venue and hotel above shares ZIP code 90015, and we drive to any home or office address in it.

Good to know before an event day

  • Pico Boulevard between Figueroa Street and L.A. Live Way is fully closed, 24 hours a day, through March 31, 2028, for the LACC Expansion and Modernization Project. No car can cross between the halls there, so tell us which hall you want.
  • The arena district has two designated white zones for drop-offs, on Chick Hearn Court eastbound and on Figueroa Street southbound. The venues ask drivers to obey posted signs, and the LAPD enforces the "No Stopping" signs across the district.
  • The West Hall garage entrance is on L.A. Live Way only, so a friend driving in should plan for that approach.
  • Traveling on without a car? Metro's Pico Station is the nearest rail stop to the district, and DASH Route F stops on Figueroa Street next to the Convention Center and L.A. LIVE.

Frequently asked questions

LAX to LA Convention Center car service FAQ

The questions travelers ask before booking a LAX to LA Convention Center transfer, grouped in the order they usually come up.

Prices

How much is a car service from LAX to the LA Convention Center?

An iRide360 executive sedan starts at $139 and a luxury SUV at $165. The LAX to LA Convention Center price follows the exact address you book, so our own quotes across the district came to $139–$141 for a sedan and $165–$167 for an SUV, rounded up to the dollar. A LAX to LA Convention Center car service fare includes tolls and taxes, and gratuity is yours to choose.

How much is a car to LAX from the Convention Center?

A Los Angeles Convention Center to LAX ride uses the same from-prices, $139 for an executive sedan and $165 for a luxury SUV. The LA Convention Center to LAX fare is shown for your exact pickup address before you pay and then stays fixed. Tolls and taxes are built in, nothing surges at busy times, and the tip is yours to set.

Does an event night or rush hour raise my fare?

No, an event night or rush hour does not raise an iRide360 fare to the Convention Center district. We quoted the Convention Center for a Tuesday at 11 AM and for a Friday at 5 PM and got the same fare to the cent. Only your own changes move the price: a new address, another vehicle, an added stop, or extra waiting.

Getting there

Is there a direct car service from LAX airport to LA Convention Center?

Yes, iRide360 runs a direct ride from LAX airport to LA convention center, terminal to venue door. It goes straight to the hall, gate or hotel you name, with no transfer and no other passengers. Your chauffeur meets you at the Arrivals curb or inside with a name board, loads your bags, and drives the 16.4 miles by Interstate 105 East and Interstate 110 North.

Which hall entrance should I give you?

Give us the hall your event is in, because South Hall and West Hall are approached differently. West Hall fronts South Figueroa Street between 12th Street and Pico Boulevard, and its garage entrance is reachable from L.A. Live Way only. The venue sends South Hall visitors to the South Hall Parking Garage. Pico Boulevard between the two is closed to traffic.

Can you drop me at the arena's own drop-off zone?

Yes, your chauffeur can drop you in Crypto.com Arena's own designated drop-off zone. The arena names two white zones: Chick Hearn Court eastbound between L.A. Live Way and Georgia Street, and Figueroa Street southbound between 12th Street and Pico. Name the one you want when you book. The venues ask drivers to obey posted signs, and the LAPD enforces the "No Stopping" signs across the district.

Timing

How long is the drive from LAX to the Convention Center?

It typically takes 20–35 minutes off-peak and 35 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes in the weekday afternoon peak, per Google traffic estimates. The Convention Center is 16.4 miles from LAX by Interstate 105 East and Interstate 110 North. A Friday at 5 PM read 30 minutes to 1 hour, and a Saturday at 2 PM read 25–45 minutes.

When should I leave LAX to make a 7:30 PM arena event?

Leave LAX by about 6:00 PM to make a 7:30 PM event at Crypto.com Arena. That takes the slow end of the measured Tuesday 5 PM drive, 1 hour 10 minutes, and adds a 20-minute safety buffer. For a 10:00 AM show-floor opening, book about 9:05 AM instead, and for an 8:00 AM exhibitor load-in, about 6:35 AM.

How early should I leave the Convention Center for an LAX flight?

Leave the Convention Center about 3 hours 25 minutes before a domestic LAX departure, and about 4 hours 25 minutes before an international one, on the measured morning readings. For a 9:00 AM domestic flight book about 5:35 AM; for a 1:00 PM flight, about 9:55 AM. Each time already carries a 20-minute safety buffer on top of the drive.

Which direction is worse for traffic?

The two directions peak at different hours. The longest drive into the district was a Tuesday at 5 PM, at 35 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes from LAX. The longest drive back out was a Tuesday at 7:00 AM, at 30–55 minutes. An exhibitor who lands at 5 PM and flies home at 9 AM runs into both.

At LAX

Do I have to go to the LAX-it lot?

No, iRide360 passengers never need the LAX-it lot. LAX-it is where app-based rideshare pickups happen. As a prearranged, licensed charter-party carrier, iRide360 meets you at the terminal you land in. You walk from baggage claim to the curb, or to your chauffeur holding a name board inside, and head straight to the venue.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Your iRide360 pickup moves with a delayed flight, at no extra charge. Your booking holds your airline and flight number, so dispatch follows the flight and times the pickup to when you actually land. Moved to a different flight? Call (833) 743-3360 and we will meet the new one. Flight tracking is included on every booking.

Venues

How much is a car service from LAX to Crypto Arena?

An executive sedan to Crypto.com Arena starts at $139 and a luxury SUV at $165, the same as the Convention Center, because the arena is a block away at 1111 South Figueroa Street. Our Crypto.com arena car service drops you in one of the arena's two named white zones. A LAX to Crypto Arena booking is priced to the arena's own address.

Do you still serve Staples Center?

Yes, iRide360 still serves the arena that was called Staples Center. It was renamed Crypto.com Arena, and a LAX to Staples Center booking is the same ride to 1111 South Figueroa Street. Use either name when you book and dispatch will know the address. The arena sits across Figueroa Street from L.A. LIVE and a block from the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Alternatives

What are the public transportation options to the Los Angeles Convention Center?

Metro rail and buses serve the district. Pico Station is the nearest rail stop, and DASH Route F stops on Figueroa Street next to the Convention Center and L.A. LIVE. Check Metro's own trip planner for routes, times and the FlyAway bus, because schedules change. A booked car, by contrast, runs terminal to hall with your bags in the trunk.

What is the closest airport to the LA Convention Center?

LAX is the closest airport to LA Convention Center among the airports iRide360 serves, 16.4 miles away by road. Burbank, Long Beach, John Wayne and Ontario all sit farther from the district. We drive to and from every one of them, so book whichever airport your flight uses and we will quote that address.

Is there a shuttle from LAX to the LA Convention Center?

iRide360 does not run a shuttle, so ask a shuttle company about its stops, schedule and price. A shared LAX to LA convention center shuttle collects several parties and stops for each of them. A private iRide360 booking carries only your party and goes straight to the hall, gate or hotel you name.

How much is an Uber from LAX to downtown?

Only the Uber app can quote that, because rideshare prices rise and fall with demand, and you have to reach the LAX-it lot to meet the driver. An iRide360 LAX to Los Angeles Convention Center fare is fixed at booking, starts at $139 for an executive sedan, and includes pickup at your own terminal.

Is a taxi, an Uber or a shuttle cheaper from LAX?

No option is always cheaper, because rideshare prices move with demand, taxi fares follow their own rules and shuttle companies set their own. Compare them on the day you travel, and check flylax.com for current LAX taxi information. A booked iRide360 ride is different: its price is set in advance and pickup is at your terminal.

Service

Is there a LAX black car service to the Convention Center?

Yes, iRide360 runs a LAX black car service to the Convention Center district in both directions. The cars are black executive sedans and full-size luxury SUVs, operating under California CPUC permit TCP 43833-A. We cover the halls, Crypto.com Arena, L.A. LIVE, the campus hotels and any other address in ZIP code 90015, from $139.

Do you offer a limo service to the LA Convention Center?

A LAX limo service booking with iRide360 means the private, chauffeured airport limousine experience in a black executive sedan or a full-size luxury SUV. We do not run stretch limousines. Whether you searched for a LAX limo service or a LA convention center limo service, you get a door-to-door ride with a professional chauffeur at a price fixed when you book.

What is the best car service from LAX?

The best LAX car service for you is one that is licensed, tracks your flight, fixes the price before you travel and meets you at your terminal rather than the LAX-it lot. Look for a California CPUC number and genuine Google reviews. iRide360 holds permit TCP 43833-A, includes a free 60-minute wait after landing, never surges, and is rated 5.0★ on Google.

Is the Convention Center in Downtown Los Angeles?

Which vehicle fits my group and my booth cases?

An executive sedan carries up to 3 passengers with 3 bags; a luxury SUV carries up to 5 passengers with 5 bags. Count your cases as well as your people before you pick. The SUV suits exhibitor teams, families and anyone with oversized luggage. Flag unusual items in your booking so dispatch assigns the right vehicle.

Can I change my booking or add a stop?

Yes, you can change an iRide360 booking or add a stop at any time before pickup. Your pickup time, your address and your vehicle can each be changed online or on (833) 743-3360, and the fare is recalculated. A stop between LAX and the venue is fine too, say to drop a colleague at a hotel first; the fare grows by the added miles and minutes.

Book your ride to the Convention Center

Your LAX to LA Convention Center car service fare is fixed before you book, and the booking page shows it in a few clicks. Dispatch answers at any hour, and you can set the pickup for after load-out at the same time.
