A long drive is the trip where the terms matter most. Two hours in a car is long enough for tolls to accumulate, for a wait to be charged for, and for a tip prompt to appear at the end of it. So this page publishes the terms rather than the adjectives: what the rate covers, how long the chauffeur waits, which two cars exist and how many people fit in each, and who decides the tip. An iRide360 rate is fixed at the moment you book and does not move afterwards. The number itself comes from the booking form, because it depends on your two addresses.

What is a long-distance car service?
A long distance car service is a prearranged, point to point car service between two places far enough apart that most people would otherwise fly, take a train, or drive themselves. A chauffeur collects you at your own address, drives the whole distance, and drops you at the door at the other end. There is no terminal, no security line, no rental counter and no transfer in the middle.
Searchers phrase it several ways and they all describe the same booking: private long distance transportation, an intercity car service, city to city transportation, long distance rides. The distinguishing feature is not the length of the drive — it is that one car and one chauffeur cover the whole of it at a price agreed before you set off.
Can you pay someone to drive you long distance?
Yes, and in California the licensed way to do it is a charter-party carrier. iRide360 is one: CPUC license TCP 43833-A. A ride booked that way is a commercial trip in a commercially insured vehicle with an assigned chauffeur, which is a different arrangement from asking a rideshare app for a two-hour fare at the curb. Chauffeurs are screened and background-checked.

Where iRide360 drives city to city
All of Los Angeles County, and regularly Orange County, Ventura County and the Inland Empire. That is the honest answer, and it is the answer whether the trip starts in Downtown Los Angeles, in a Westside hotel, in a Valley studio or at a house in Orange County.
A city-to-city booking is two addresses and a time. Where the destination already has its own route page, that page has the run and the fare for it, and this page hands you over.
- LAX to Riverside car service: Riverside and the Inland Empire — the inland run has its own page.
- LAX to Orange County car service: Anaheim, Irvine, Newport Beach and the rest sit under the county page.
- LAX to Ventura car service: Ventura County — Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo and Thousand Oaks.
- Riverside County: A car service to Palm Springs is booked the same way as any other: two addresses and a time.
- Los Angeles service areas: The full list of every place iRide360 covers.
No mileage or drive time is published on this page. A figure like that is only worth printing if somebody measured it, and nobody has measured these; the booking form prices your actual two addresses.
City to city, by the hour, or an airport run — which do I book?
Three different bookings, and picking the wrong one is the most common mistake on this page.
- City to city: One long one-way drive between two addresses in two cities. This page. The chauffeur drives you there and the booking ends.
- Hourly chauffeur service: The car and chauffeur stay with you across several stops, usually inside one area, for a block of time.
- Airport transfers: Any leg that starts or ends at LAX, Burbank, Long Beach, John Wayne, Ontario or Van Nuys. Those have their own pages, with the airport wait policy, the terminal detail and, on the named routes, the fare.
A long one-way run with one stop on the way is still a city-to-city booking: the stop is priced for the added distance and time. A day of appointments in one city is an hourly booking. If you are not sure which shape fits, dispatch can talk it through on (833) 743-3360, at any hour.

What a long distance car service booking includes on the road
A long distance car service booking is the whole car for your party, not a seat, at a flat rate agreed before you travel. Tolls and taxes are inside that rate and it does not move with traffic or demand, which is the difference that matters most over a two-hour drive rather than a twenty-minute one.
Bags decide the class on a long run. An executive sedan takes 3 passengers and 3 bags; a luxury SUV takes 5 and 5. There is no third class and no van, so a party of six travels in two cars on one reservation. Complimentary Fiji bottled water, onboard Wi-Fi and phone chargers are in both.
Stops along the way are normal on a long drive and are priced for the distance and time they add rather than charged as a penalty. A pickup that is not at an airport includes 15 minutes of complimentary wait; an airport arrival includes 60 minutes after the plane lands, with flight tracking included. iRide360 drives these routes as a California CPUC charter-party carrier, TCP 43833-A.
Sedan or SUV for a long drive?
iRide360 runs two vehicle classes and no others.

Executive sedan: black, up to 3 passengers and 3 bags. The usual pick for one or two people with normal luggage.
Executive sedan
Up to 3 passengers · 3 bags
The rate is fixed when you book, with tolls and taxes included and gratuity optional.

Luxury SUV: black, full-size, up to 5 passengers and 5 bags. Pick it when there are three or more of you, when the bags are large, or when a child seat goes in alongside everyone else. On a long drive the extra room is the whole difference.
Luxury SUV
Up to 5 passengers · 5 bags
The rate is fixed when you book, with tolls and taxes included and gratuity optional.
What is in both cars
Complimentary Fiji bottled water, onboard Wi-Fi and phone chargers, in both classes. Over a two-hour drive those are the amenities that get used. Child seats — booster, forward-facing and rear-facing — are available from $25 each on request, and pets travel for a $25 fee; service animals are never charged.
What iRide360 does not run
Those two classes are the whole list. There are no vans, no buses and no stretched vehicles. If there are more than five of you, the answer is more than one car on the same booking, and dispatch arranges that on (833) 743-3360.
How is a long-distance fare set?
No fare is published here, because a long distance car service cost depends on where you are going and nobody can print one number for every pair of addresses. What does not change is how the figure is arrived at, and what is already inside it.
Changes the fare
- The distance and expected driving time between your two addresses.
- Which of the two vehicle classes you choose.
- The time of day you book for.
- Extra stops along the way, priced for the added distance and time.
- A child seat, a pet, or wait beyond the complimentary window.
Does not change the fare
- Traffic on the day. The price was fixed when you booked.
- Demand. There is no surge pricing, at any hour, on any date.
- Tolls and taxes. They are already inside the figure you agreed.
Do I have to tip on a long drive?
No. Gratuity is optional on every iRide360 booking and you choose it at checkout from 15%, 18%, 20% (pre-selected), 25% or a custom amount, and the custom amount can be $0. It goes to the chauffeur. Nothing is added to your card afterwards and no gratuity is built into the quoted fare, so you are never paying one twice.
How do I book a city-to-city ride?
- Enter both street addresses and your pickup time in the booking form at the top of this page.
- Choose the executive sedan or the luxury SUV.
- Read the flat price shown for that class. Tolls and taxes are already in it and it will not change afterwards.
- Add a child seat, a pet or an extra stop if you need one. Each is priced separately.
- Choose your gratuity at checkout and confirm — or call dispatch on (833) 743-3360 at any hour instead.

This page is iRide360’s own description of its long-distance and city-to-city car service. Every policy on it — the fixed price, the included tolls and taxes, the optional gratuity, the two wait windows, the two vehicle classes and their capacities, the child-seat and pet fees, and the license number — is a current operating policy of iRide360, not an estimate and not a third-party summary. Last reviewed 2026-10-23.
iRide360 publishes no fare on this page. A flat price for a specific trip is shown on the booking form before anything is confirmed, because the price depends on two addresses and a time. No mileage and no journey time is published here either: those have not been measured for these routes, and the booking form prices your actual addresses rather than an average. Ratings and review counts shown here come from iRide360’s Google Business Profile and are not edited.

Karan is always punctual, courteous, professional, and incredibly accommodating. The vehicle is always spotless and very well maintained. Frequently asked questions about long-distance and city-to-city rides
- What is a city-to-city car service?
- A city to city car service is one prearranged ride between two street addresses in two different cities, with one chauffeur driving the whole distance at a flat rate fixed when you book. iRide360 runs it in a black executive sedan for up to 3 passengers and 3 bags, or a luxury SUV for up to 5 and 5.
- How much does a long distance car service cost?
- There is no single figure: a long distance car service cost is set by the distance and expected driving time between your two addresses, which of the two vehicle classes you pick, the time of day, and any extra stops. iRide360 shows the flat price for each class on the booking form before you commit, with tolls and taxes already in it and no surge pricing. No fare is published on this page.
- Can you pay someone to drive you long distance?
- Yes. A long distance chauffeur service is a charter-party carrier licensed by the Public Utilities Commission, and iRide360's license is TCP 43833-A. Booking a chauffeur service long distance, or any car service for long distance travel, works the same way. You book a specific time and two addresses, a chauffeur is assigned in advance, and the price is set before the trip.
- Where does iRide360 drive?
- All of Los Angeles County, and regularly Orange County, Ventura County and the Inland Empire. A car service Orange County to Los Angeles run is an everyday booking; so is a car service Los Angeles to San Diego trip, or a LAX to San Diego car service after a landing. Dispatch confirms availability for your date once you enter the two addresses.
- Is there a long distance car service near me?
- If your pickup is inside that coverage, yes. A long distance car service near me search, a hunt for private long distance transportation services and a long distance private car service inquiry are the same question in three phrasings, and all are answered by entering your pickup address on the booking form. Long distance ride services differ mainly in how they price: long distance ride service rates here are flat and fixed at booking. The best long distance ride service is the one whose figure does not move, and a luxury long distance car service should still tell you that figure before you travel.
- Is it one price for the car or a price per person?
- One price for the car. Up to 3 passengers in the sedan and up to 5 in the SUV travel on one fare, and the fare does not change with how many seats are filled.
- What is included in the price?
- The ride, tolls and taxes, 15 minutes of complimentary wait at a non-airport pickup or 60 minutes after a flight lands, and Fiji bottled water, Wi-Fi and chargers in the car. Gratuity, child seats from $25, a $25 pet fee, extra stops and wait beyond the free window are priced separately.
- Can I stop along the way?
- Yes, and the stop is priced for the added distance and time, which is why it is added when you book rather than negotiated in the car. A trip that is really a day of several stops in one area is an hourly booking instead.
- How many people and bags fit?
- Three passengers and three bags in the executive sedan; five and five in the luxury SUV. Those are the capacities the booking engine quotes. For more than five people it is more than one car on the same booking, arranged by dispatch.
- Can I travel with a child seat or a pet?
- Yes to both. Booster, forward-facing and rear-facing seats are available from $25 each on request, and pets travel for a $25 fee. Service animals are never charged. Both classes take a child seat; the SUV leaves more room beside it.
- How long does the chauffeur wait?
- Fifteen minutes of complimentary wait at a pickup that is not an airport. If a leg of the trip starts at an airport, that leg includes 60 minutes of complimentary wait after the flight lands, then $1 per minute, and flight tracking is included so a delay moves the pickup at no charge.
- Can I change the time or the address after booking?
- Yes. Pickup time, address and vehicle class can all be changed online or through dispatch on (833) 743-3360, and the price adjusts to match the new trip. You pay the fare for the trip you end up taking, tolls and taxes still included.
- Is a long-distance ride cheaper than flying, driving or a rideshare?
- They price differently rather than one always winning. A city-to-city fare is fixed when you book and does not move with traffic or demand. A short-haul flight adds the airport at both ends. A rental adds fuel, parking and the driving. A rideshare fare is calculated when you request it. No prices for any of them appear on this page.
- Is a limo cheaper than Uber?
- It depends on the trip, and the two price in opposite ways rather than one being cheaper everywhere. A chauffeured car is quoted as a flat rate before the trip and that figure does not move with traffic or demand. A rideshare fare is calculated at the moment you request it. Over a two-hour drive the flat rate is the one you can plan around. iRide360 publishes no price comparison with any other operator, and the limousine experience it provides is in a black executive sedan or a luxury SUV, not a stretched vehicle.
- How do I choose a long-distance car service?
- Ask four questions. What is the license number, so you can look the carrier up. Is the price a flat rate or a meter. How long does the chauffeur wait, in minutes, before anything is charged. And who decides the gratuity. iRide360's answers are TCP 43833-A, a flat rate fixed at booking with tolls and taxes in it, 15 minutes at a non-airport pickup and 60 after a flight lands, and the passenger, at checkout.
- How do I check that a long-distance car service is licensed?
- Ask for the TCP number. California issues one to every licensed charter-party carrier and anyone can look it up with the Public Utilities Commission. iRide360's is TCP 43833-A, published here, on the booking form and on the invoice, next to the office address in El Segundo.
