What does a LAX to Laguna Hills car service cost?

iRide360 put twenty addresses through its own booking engine, spread from one end of Laguna Hills to the other, each one collected at the airport — and every address was checked against the city line before it was priced. Ten of them are below, and together they show a town roughly $12.50 wide in a sedan. Across those addresses a private car service in Laguna Hills came back between $232.65 and $245.18 in a sedan, and between $270.03 and $284.07 in an SUV, before any tip — and whichever figure you see is the figure that holds.

Ten live quotes, taken in our own engine for an 11 AM Tuesday collection at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). One way. Tolls and taxes sit inside each figure; the gratuity does not. Every figure on this page comes from the iRide360 booking engine, quoted for a pickup at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) at 11 AM on a Tuesday. Each fare is fixed at booking, includes tolls and taxes, and excludes the optional gratuity. Every price and distance on this page is for the incorporated City of Laguna Hills, ZIP 92653. Each address was checked against the Laguna Hills city line before it was quoted, using the US Census Bureau geocoder's TIGERweb Incorporated Places layer. Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel and Laguna Woods are separate cities and carry their own fares elsewhere on this site.

What changes a Laguna Hills fare, and what cannot?

  • Moves it — the street you name. Laguna Hills spans about $12.50 in a sedan between Avenida de la Carlota and Nellie Gail Road, because the engine measures from the pin, not from the city name attached to it.
  • Moves it — sedan against SUV. That gap held between $37 and $39 at every address we tested.
  • Moves it — what you add on. Child seats are $25 each in booster, forward-facing or rear-facing form; a pet rides for $25; a second stop is charged for the miles and minutes it costs.
  • Moves it — waiting beyond the free hour at the airport, billed at a dollar a minute.
  • Leaves it alone — the clock. We re-ran the cheapest and the most expensive Laguna Hills addresses late on a Friday afternoon and both returned the same cents as midweek lunchtime.
  • Leaves it alone — how busy the night is. There is no surge, and every toll and tax is already folded into the figure you accept.

What your fare includes

Included

  • In the price: a chauffeur watching your flight, an hour of free waiting at LAX from touchdown, a quarter of an hour free at a Laguna Hills pickup, hands on your bags, chilled Fiji bottled water, onboard Wi-Fi, phone chargers, and every toll and tax on the route.

Added only when requested

  • On top: the gratuity, which you set at checkout — 15%, 18%, 20%, 25%, your own figure, or none; child seats from $25 each; a pet at $25; extra stops; and airport waiting past the free hour at $1 a minute.

How long is the drive from LAX to Laguna Hills?

The LAX to Laguna Hills distance is 50.7 road miles from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to City Hall on El Toro Road, rising to 53.6 miles at the Nellie Gail Ranch Equestrian Center out in the southeast. LAX to Laguna Hills drive time shifts by more than an hour across one day, so both tables below were read at a named hour rather than blended into a single average.

Late evening is the kindest hour on this stretch; a Tuesday at 5 PM is the one worth planning around.

Leaving Laguna Hills

Measured from City Hall, 50.9 miles on Interstate 405 North. Northbound, the hour before 4 AM is the quietest slot of the day, and the late-afternoon window is the one that bites.

Northbound is where this route takes its revenge — 50.9 identical miles read 45 to 55 minutes out of City Hall at 3:30 AM and as much as 2 hr 5 min at 4:30 PM, a seventy-minute swing on the slow end, which is exactly why each departure time below is built from the slowest reading nearest your own pickup hour.

All figures are typical, per Google traffic estimates (Routes API). Every range on this page was measured with the Google Routes API in October 2026, between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Laguna Hills City Hall at 24035 El Toro Road and the Nellie Gail Ranch Equestrian Center at 25202 Nellie Gail Road, in both directions, at named Tuesday, Friday and Saturday hours. They describe typical traffic, not a promise.

Departures

What time should your Laguna Hills pickup be?

Give yourself two hours at the terminal for a domestic departure and three for an international one. A Laguna Hills car service to LAX then has to work its way up Interstate 405, so we start from the slowest reading nearest your pickup hour, add a 20-minute safety buffer, and allow 10 minutes more at the door. Everything below is measured from central Laguna Hills. Each time already has the terminal allowance, the slowest nearby reading, the 20-minute safety buffer and the ten minutes at your door subtracted from the flight.

  • Every time above already contains that 20-minute safety buffer.
  • The chauffeur waits 15 minutes free at a Laguna Hills pickup, so nobody is hurried out of the door.
  • Bags go in at your address and come out again at your airline's Departures level.
  • Setting off from Nellie Gail Road or anywhere else in the southeast, or booking Laguna Hills to LAX for a Monday morning? Call dispatch on (833) 743-3360 and we will look at whether an earlier slot would suit you better.
  • Take these as guidance. Where your airline asks for a longer allowance than ours, go with the airline.

Laguna Hills coverage

Which Laguna Hills addresses do we drive to?

A Laguna Hills car service from iRide360, a CPUC-licensed (TCP 43833-A) black car service based in El Segundo near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), reaches every street in town. The ten below are simply the ones that come up most, each with a detail published by the place itself and the sedan figure our engine returned for an 11 AM Tuesday airport collection, tip excluded.

Tiller House, Laguna Hills, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel

23061 Avenida de la Carlota, at the northwest end of the city. Its $232.65 sedan quote was the lowest figure we recorded anywhere inside the Laguna Hills city line, and the starting price on this page comes from it.

Courtyard by Marriott Laguna Hills Irvine Spectrum/Orange County

23175 Avenida de la Carlota, a little farther along the same street. Sedan fare quoted: $233.31.

Florence Sylvester Memorial Senior Center

23721 Moulton Parkway. Age Well Senior Services runs it, and the Orange County Office on Aging lists the center at that address on 949-380-0155. Sedan fare quoted: $234.67.

Laguna Hills City Hall

24035 El Toro Road. The City publishes hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on alternate Fridays, closing on the other Fridays. Council meets at 6 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month in the chambers at that address. City Hall is the fixed point every drive time on this page is measured from. Sedan fare quoted: $236.36.

The former Laguna Hills Mall site

24155 Laguna Hills Mall, a parcel the City's own project file puts at about 68 acres. The address is still a live point in booking suggestions, so an LAX to Laguna Hills Mall drop-off will find it. Sedan fare quoted: $237.15.

MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center

24451 Health Center Drive. Complimentary valet sits in the roundabout off the Calle de la Magdalena entrance, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a shuttle from there to the Medical Tower entrance, which connects to the rest of the hospital. Sedan fare quoted: $238.10.

Sheep Hills Park

On the city's western side. It only became part of Laguna Hills with the Westside annexation that took effect on 18 September 2000, which brought in 149 acres of homes. Sedan fare quoted: $241.44.

Laguna Hills High School

25401 Paseo de Valencia, a Saddleback Valley Unified school for grades 9 to 12, reachable on 949-770-5447, and home of the Hawks. Sedan fare quoted: $241.83.

Laguna Hills Community Center and Sports Complex

25555 Alicia Parkway. The City describes a 43,000-square-foot building holding a gymnasium, a fossil exhibit, a rotating art gallery and a Technology Branch of the Orange County Public Library. The gym alone covers 13,000 square feet, with retractable bleachers, two electronic scoreboards and a wall that divides it into two courts. Sedan fare quoted: $243.31.

Nellie Gail Ranch Equestrian Center

25202 Nellie Gail Road. The Ranch lists 96 stalls, three large lighted sand arenas, two round pens and access to 25 miles of equestrian trails, open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and states that it does not offer trail riding. An LAX to Nellie Gail Ranch booking is the longest run inside the city at 53.6 miles. Sedan fare quoted: $245.18.

Residential Laguna Hills

Homes right across ZIP 92653, from the Avenida de la Carlota hotels at $232.65 to Nellie Gail Road at $245.18, sedan fares quoted. The city's other ZIP, 92654, is for P.O. boxes only.

What helps on a Laguna Hills ride?

  • These five notes come from our own Laguna Hills booking runs and from the City of Laguna Hills' own published records. Four cities in this corner of Orange County carry the Laguna name, and only one of them is this page. Laguna Hills became a city on December 20, 1991, after 86% of voters backed incorporation that March. Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel and Laguna Woods are separate cities, sit at different road distances from the airport, and carry their own fares here.
  • The two city halls very nearly touch. Ours is 24035 El Toro Road, Laguna Hills 92653. Laguna Woods City Hall is 24264 El Toro Road, Laguna Woods 92637 — the same street, a couple of hundred house numbers along, a different city. The City of Laguna Woods even printed the 92653 ZIP on its own council agendas back in 2003.
  • Read the suggestion, but trust the pin. Our own test bookings turned up a Laguna Hills address on Moulton Parkway stamped with ZIP 92656 and the 92653 ZIP centroid labeled "Aliso Viejo" — both of them inside the Laguna Hills city line, and both priced correctly, because the fare follows the coordinates rather than the wording.
  • Our drive times all start at City Hall, but the city kept growing after it incorporated. North Laguna Hills joined on 1 July 1996, and the Westside annexation of 18 September 2000 brought in 149 acres of homes along with Sheep Hills Park, which we priced at $241.44 in a sedan.
  • Nellie Gail Ranch carries a real person's name. Nellie Gail Moulton, a painter born in Kansas in 1878, married Lewis Moulton in 1908 and ran the 22,000-acre Moulton Ranch for twelve years after his death. She died in Laguna Hills on August 23, 1972, and the City keeps an exhibit about her at the Civic Center.

Frequently asked questions

LAX to Laguna Hills car service FAQ

The questions travelers ask before booking a LAX to Laguna Hills transfer, grouped in the order they usually come up.

Fares

How much is a LAX to Laguna Hills car service?

A LAX to Laguna Hills car service with iRide360 starts at $233 in an executive sedan and $271 in a luxury SUV. Rounded up, our quotes around the city ran $233 to $246 for sedans and $271 to $285 for SUVs — cheapest at the Avenida de la Carlota hotels, highest out at Nellie Gail Ranch. Tolls and taxes sit inside that number. The tip does not.

What does a Laguna Hills to LAX car service cost?

A Laguna Hills to LAX car service is priced from your own address, so it carries its own figure. Enter the Laguna Hills street as the pickup and Los Angeles International Airport as the destination, and both vehicle prices appear before checkout. A Laguna Hills CA to LAX booking locks the moment you confirm, and the gratuity remains yours to decide.

Does the price change if the 405 is backed up?

No. The flat rate from LAX to Laguna Hills is settled when you book, so a stationary Interstate 405 costs you nothing extra. We re-quoted our cheapest and most expensive Laguna Hills addresses late on a Friday afternoon against midweek lunchtime and both matched to the cent. What does move the number: the street, the vehicle class, anything you add, and airport waiting past the free hour.

Why is the fare different at each Laguna Hills address?

Because the engine prices road distance from the pin you drop, not from the city name on it. The lax to laguna hills cost came to $232.65 in a sedan at 23061 Avenida de la Carlota in the northwest and $245.18 at the Nellie Gail Ranch Equestrian Center in the southeast — about $12.50 from one end of the city to the other. An SUV added $37 to $39 everywhere.

Distance and timing

How far is Laguna Hills from LAX?

About 51 road miles. The Google Routes API puts City Hall at 24035 El Toro Road 50.7 miles from the airport by Interstate 405 South, and the Nellie Gail Ranch Equestrian Center at 53.6 miles. So how far is Laguna Hills from LAX depends a little on which end of town you are heading for, and the fare follows the same line.

How long does LAX to Laguna Hills take in light and heavy traffic?

Light traffic ran 45 minutes to 1 hr 5 min, read leaving the airport at 10 PM on a Tuesday. Heavy traffic ran 1 hr 15 min to 2 hr, read at 5 PM that same day. Midday sat at 50 minutes to 1 hr 10 min, and Saturday afternoon at 50 minutes to 1 hr 15 min. Figures are typical, per Google traffic estimates (Routes API).

What time should my pickup be for a 6 AM flight?

About 2:35 AM. We count backwards from a 6 AM domestic departure: two hours at the terminal, then the slowest figure in our Tuesday 3:30 AM northbound reading, then the 20-minute safety buffer, then ten minutes at the door. That slot is the quietest of the day, 45 to 55 minutes on Interstate 405 North, typical per Google traffic estimates (Routes API).

When should I leave for a 9 AM flight?

Around 4:30 AM for a 9 AM domestic departure. The reason sits in the 7 AM reading: leaving City Hall then, the airport run stretched to two hours. A 1 PM flight needs only a 9:15 AM pickup, because the 10 AM reading tops out at 1 hr 15 min. On this route the hour decides the time, not the mileage.

Laguna Hills addresses

Is Laguna Hills the same as Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel or Laguna Woods?

No. Laguna Hills is its own incorporated city, inland, in ZIP 92653, and has been a city since December 20, 1991. Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel and Laguna Woods are three separate cities with their own boundaries, their own road distances from the airport and their own fares on this site. The prices here apply inside the Laguna Hills city line only.

What address should I give for a home in Laguna Hills?

Give the full street address with the house number, then look at the suggestion before you tap it. Labels here are unreliable: our own test runs found an in-boundary address on Moulton Parkway stamped ZIP 92656, and the 92653 ZIP centroid labeled Aliso Viejo. Both still priced correctly, because the fare follows the coordinates. Gate codes and building names belong in the booking notes.

Can you drop me at MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center?

Yes. We drive to 24451 Health Center Drive, and the hospital's complimentary valet sits in the roundabout off the Calle de la Magdalena entrance, Monday to Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., with a shuttle to the Medical Tower entrance. Put the building or department you need in the booking notes. Our sedan quote from the airport was $238.10, the SUV $276.14.

Do you collect from Nellie Gail Ranch?

Yes. The Nellie Gail Ranch Equestrian Center at 25202 Nellie Gail Road is the farthest point inside the city line that we priced, 53.6 road miles out, at $245.18 in a sedan and $284.07 in an SUV. The Ranch lists 96 stalls and three lighted sand arenas and opens from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Homes on the surrounding streets price in the same band.

At LAX

Where does a private car service pick you up at LAX?

At the terminal your flight actually lands in. Booking offers two options: the lower Arrivals curb, or a chauffeur waiting inside with your name on a sign. Through Tom Bradley International you are met in the arrivals hall once customs is behind you, or one level down at the curb. Because dispatch holds your flight number, the meeting time tracks the real landing.

Do I have to go to the LAX-it lot?

No. App passengers at LAX are directed to the LAX-it holding lot instead of the terminal curb, and Los Angeles International Airport sets out on flylax.com how to reach it. That rule does not cover prearranged licensed operators, who may meet passengers at the terminal itself, so a lax airport to laguna hills trip starts beside baggage claim or inside with a name sign.

What happens if my flight into LAX is delayed?

Nothing happens, and it costs you nothing. We re-time the pickup around the actual landing, because dispatch is watching the flight number rather than the clock. Your free hour opens when the wheels are down, and each minute after it is $1. If the airline moves you onto a different flight number, call (833) 743-3360 so the car follows that one instead.

How long will my driver wait for me at LAX?

Sixty minutes from touchdown, free of charge, then $1 for every minute beyond. At a Laguna Hills address the free window is 15 minutes rather than an hour. Customs and baggage reclaim at Tom Bradley International can swallow a fair slice of that hour, so a quick call to (833) 743-3360 keeps dispatch in the picture if you are held up.

Any laguna hills limo service worth booking answers all five plainly. We publish TCP 43833-A and are rated 5.0★ on Google.
