The Hollywood Hills is a neighborhood of the City of Los Angeles, not an incorporated city, and it has no center and no commercial strip of its own. It is ridge and canyon streets, so booking a car service to Hollywood Hills addresses is really a question of which street. iRide360, a CPUC-licensed (TCP 43833-A) black car service based in El Segundo near LAX, quotes every Hollywood Hills address on its own. Our LAX to Hollywood Hills car service runs both directions, every day.

How much does an LAX to Hollywood Hills car service cost?

LAX to Hollywood Hills car service rates are one fixed fare for the whole car, set when you book and never charged per seat. Addresses here are reached from two different freeways and our own quotes spread $14.83 across the neighborhood, so the exact address moves the number more than the neighborhood name does. Every price on this page is fixed at booking, includes tolls and taxes, and excludes the optional gratuity. We ran twelve quotes to addresses confirmed inside the Hollywood Hills boundary. Sedans came back between $136.12 and $150.95 and SUVs between $161.55 and $178.09, before gratuity. The lowest was Wattles Mansion on North Curson Avenue; the highest was Lake Hollywood Drive. Both of those addresses quoted the identical fare on a Tuesday at 11 AM and a Friday at 5 PM.

What moves the fare in the Hollywood Hills?

  • Your exact address, more than anything else. Our sedan quotes ran $136.12 to Wattles Mansion on North Curson Avenue, $136.88 to the 2100 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, $145.12 to the 7000 block of Mulholland Drive and $150.95 to Lake Hollywood Drive.
  • Vehicle class. A luxury SUV is priced above an executive sedan on the same trip.
  • Extra stops, priced for the distance and time they add.
  • Child seats from $25 each, a $25 pet fee, and waiting past your free allowance at $1 per minute.
  • Traffic. A slow stretch on Interstate 405 costs you nothing extra, because iRide360 does not use surge pricing.
  • The hour you travel. The same two addresses quoted the same fare to the cent at Tuesday midday and Friday evening.

How do I book a car service from LAX to the Hollywood Hills?

Booking takes five steps, and your fixed fare is on screen at the first one.

  1. 1

Open iride360.com/book, set Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) at one end and your Hollywood Hills street address at the other, then choose an executive sedan or a luxury SUV.

  2. 2

Enter your airline and flight number so the arrival is tracked, and say whether you want to be met at the curb or inside the terminal with a name sign.

  3. 3

Add anything the trip needs: a child seat, an extra stop, a pet, or the return ride back to the airport.

  4. 4

Set the gratuity at checkout — 15%, 18%, 20%, 25% or your own amount, including $0 — and the fare is then fixed.

  5. 5

Land at LAX, collect your bags, and walk out to your chauffeur. Your 60 complimentary minutes started when the wheels touched down.

Terminal by terminal

Where does your chauffeur meet you at LAX?

You pick the meeting point when you book. Curbside means your chauffeur pulls in on the lower-level Arrivals curb outside your terminal. The LAX car service meet and greet option puts your chauffeur inside the terminal with a name sign instead. Arriving into the Tom Bradley International Terminal? Look in the arrivals hall past customs, or at the lower-level curb. iRide360 is a prearranged licensed carrier, so our LAX airport car service riders skip the LAX-it rideshare lot entirely. Cannot spot your chauffeur? Dispatch picks up on (833) 743-3360.

Typical, per Google Maps

How long is the drive from LAX to the Hollywood Hills?

We measured this route at two points inside the neighborhood, because one number would not be honest here. Google's traffic model returned Interstate 405 North for every reading to Mulholland Drive at Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Interstate 110 North for every reading to Lake Hollywood Drive. All times are typical, per Google traffic estimates (Routes API), measured on October 11, 2026.

Two addresses inside one neighborhood, read at the same six hours on a LAX airport to Hollywood Hills run — and the Lake Hollywood Drive column starts later at every one of them.

Hollywood Hills to LAX drive times

We measured Hollywood Hills to LAX in its own direction rather than reversing the inbound numbers. These Hollywood Hills to LAX drive time readings start at Mulholland Drive and Laurel Canyon Boulevard and run on Interstate 405 South. All are Tuesday checks except the last, and all are typical, per Google traffic estimates (Routes API), measured on October 11, 2026.

Tuesday 3:30 AM30 – 35 min
Tuesday 6:00 AM40 min – 1 hr

Tuesday 6:30 PM45 min – 1 hr 10 min
Friday 2:30 PM55 min – 1 hr 45 min

The gap between the two measured points is the story of this route. At 10 PM on a Tuesday the ridge read 30 to 45 minutes while Lake Hollywood Drive read 40 to 55 minutes, and at the Tuesday afternoon peak the ridge read 1 hour to 1 hour 50 minutes while Lake Hollywood Drive read 1 hour 15 minutes to 2 hours 5 minutes.

Every range on this page is typical, per Google traffic estimates (Routes API), taken on October 11, 2026 between LAX and Mulholland Drive at Laurel Canyon Boulevard and between LAX and Lake Hollywood Drive. The suggested pickups below already carry a stated 20-minute safety buffer.

Departures

When should you leave the Hollywood Hills for an LAX flight?

Every pickup below is worked back from being at LAX two hours before a domestic departure, or three hours before an international one. Each Hollywood Hills to LAX car service pickup uses iRide360's own Routes API return readings, typical per Google traffic estimates, and already includes a stated 20-minute safety buffer on top of the slow end of the drive. All of them are measured from Mulholland Drive at Laurel Canyon Boulevard. For a 1:00 PM domestic flight, book a Hollywood Hills pickup at about 9:15 AM.

  • We set you down at your airline's departures level at LAX.
  • Your chauffeur handles the suitcases at both ends of the trip.
  • A pickup at a home or hotel includes 15 minutes of free wait.

  • Is your address away from that intersection? Give dispatch the full street address when you book, and your pickup time is set against your own street rather than the ridge. Call (833) 743-3360 and we will pick the time with you.

Hollywood Hills coverage

Where does iRide360 drive in the Hollywood Hills?

We drive to any address in Los Angeles County, and a car service to Hollywood Hills destinations usually means parks, the ridge road and canyon streets. Every place below was point-tested against the LA County GIS Hollywood Hills community boundary, and the fares are our own quotes.

Runyon Canyon Park

2000 N Fuller Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046. The City of Los Angeles lists the park as open sunrise to sunset every day, with no restroom facilities in the park. Our sedan quote was $137.41.

Wattles Mansion and Gardens

1824 N Curson Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046, a City of Los Angeles park site listed with the phone number (323) 969-9106. This was our lowest in-boundary quote: $136.12 by executive sedan and $161.55 by luxury SUV.

Lake Hollywood Park

3160 Canyon Lake Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90068. The City lists it as open Monday to Sunday, sunrise to sunset, with the park phone number (818) 243-1145. Our sedan quote was $149.59.

Mulholland Drive

The ridge road along the top of the neighborhood. Building along it is governed by the City of Los Angeles Mulholland Scenic Parkway Specific Plan, Ordinance No. 167,943, adopted in 1992. Our sedan quote to the 7000 block was $145.12.

Beachwood Canyon

The streets off North Beachwood Drive. We confirmed the 2200, 2800 and 2900 blocks inside the boundary, and our sedan quote to the 2800 block was $145.55.

Laurel Canyon

Laurel Canyon Boulevard and the streets off it. Our sedan quote to the 2100 block was $136.88, the second-lowest fare we found inside the neighborhood.

Outpost Estates and Mount Olympus

Two named hillside tracts inside the boundary. Our sedan quotes were $138.85 to Outpost Drive and $137.91 to Mount Olympus Drive.

Residential Hollywood Hills

Homes in ZIP codes 90046 and 90068. Both ZIP codes also reach streets outside the neighborhood, so we price the address rather than the ZIP code.

What to know before you book a ride up the hill

  • A mailing address is not a map here. On the LA County community layer, 2000 N Fuller Ave is in the Hollywood Hills while the 1700 block of the same street is in Hollywood, and a "West Hollywood, CA 90046" address in the 1400 block of North Fairfax Avenue sits in the City of Los Angeles and in neither place. Give us the full street address and the fare follows the street.
  • Red Flag Days change where a car may stand. The Los Angeles Fire Department has run Red Flag Parking Restrictions since January 1, 2006, and declares a Red Flag Day when winds reach 25 mph or more and humidity falls to 15% or less. On a declared day, parking is strictly prohibited in posted areas inside the Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones, and illegally parked vehicles will be towed. LAFD publishes the status at lafd.org/redflag and flies a red flag at every fire station. Call dispatch on (833) 743-3360 and we will agree where to meet.
  • Going for the view? The Hollywood Sign's own site names two viewpoints, and neither of them is inside the Hollywood Hills. Book an LAX to Hollywood Sign ride to one of those two addresses rather than to a residential street.
  • Staying down on the flat rather than up the hill? Our LAX to Hollywood car service page covers that side, and this page covers the hills above it.
  • The afternoon is the slowest window in both directions. Our slowest reading out of LAX was 1 hour 15 minutes to 2 hours 5 minutes at 5 PM on a Tuesday, and the slowest back to LAX was 1 hour to 1 hour 50 minutes at 4:30 PM.

Hollywood Hills transportation compared: private car, rideshare, taxi and shuttle

Hollywood Hills transportation comes in four shapes, and all of them can reach a hillside address. They differ in where you are collected, how the price is set, and who waits for whom.

Only the private car collects you at your own LAX terminal, fixes the price before you travel, and waits a full hour for a late flight.

Frequently asked questions

LAX to Hollywood Hills car service FAQ

The questions travelers ask before booking a LAX to Hollywood Hills transfer, grouped in the order they usually come up.

Cost

How much is a car service from LAX to the Hollywood Hills?

An iRide360 LAX to Hollywood Hills car service starts at $137 for an executive sedan and $162 for a luxury SUV. The LAX to Hollywood Hills cost follows the street rather than the neighborhood: our twelve in-boundary quotes ran $136.12 to $150.95 by sedan and $161.55 to $178.09 by SUV. Tolls and taxes are included, and gratuity is optional.

How much is car service to LAX?

A Hollywood Hills to LAX car service is priced the same way as the ride out: one fixed fare for the whole car, agreed before you travel. We quoted the LAX to Hollywood Hills direction, from $137 by executive sedan, and the booking page shows the exact return fare from your own Hollywood Hills address. Enter the street address at iride360.com/book.

Why do two Hollywood Hills addresses cost different amounts?

Because the two ends of the neighborhood are reached differently. We quoted twelve addresses inside the boundary and the sedan fares spread $14.83, from $136.12 on North Curson Avenue to $150.95 on Lake Hollywood Drive. Google routed us on Interstate 405 for the ridge and on Interstate 110 for the Lake Hollywood end. The street decides the number.

Does traffic change the price?

No, traffic never changes an iRide360 fare between LAX and the Hollywood Hills. Your price is agreed at booking, so a slow afternoon on Interstate 405 costs you nothing extra and there is no surge pricing. The fare moves only when the trip does: a different address, a larger vehicle, an added stop, a child seat, a pet, or waiting past your free allowance.

Is gratuity included, and what else costs extra?

Gratuity is never included and is entirely your choice, offered at checkout at 15%, 18%, 20% pre-selected, 25% or any custom amount including $0, and all of it goes to your chauffeur. The extras are child seats from $25 each, added stops priced for distance and time, a $25 pet fee, and $1 per minute once your free wait ends.

The neighborhood

Is the Hollywood Hills a city?

No. The Hollywood Hills is a neighborhood of the City of Los Angeles, not an incorporated city, so it has no city limits and no city hall. iRide360 uses the LA County GIS Countywide Statistical Areas Hollywood Hills community boundary instead, and point-tests every address it prices against that polygon. That is why we quote a street rather than a neighborhood name.

Which ZIP codes are in the Hollywood Hills?

The Hollywood Hills addresses we priced sit in ZIP codes 90046 and 90068. Both of those ZIP codes also reach streets that are not in the Hollywood Hills: the 1700 block of North Fuller Avenue and the 7900 block of Sunset Boulevard test as Hollywood, and the 3000 block of Canyon Drive tests as Los Feliz. A ZIP code alone proves nothing here.

Is Griffith Observatory in the Hollywood Hills?

No. The Observatory's own address, 2800 East Observatory Road, point-tests as Los Feliz on the LA County community layer rather than as Hollywood Hills. iRide360 drives there, and quotes the trip from that address instead of treating it as a Hollywood Hills stop. Give us the full street address when you book and the boundary question answers itself.

Getting there

How far is Hollywood Hills from LAX?

The Hollywood Hills is about 28 road miles from LAX. Our Routes API readings returned 28.4 miles to Mulholland Drive at Laurel Canyon Boulevard, on Interstate 405, and 28.2 miles to Lake Hollywood Drive, on Interstate 110. Your fare for the LAX to Hollywood Hills run is set by the address and the vehicle you pick at booking, not by the mileage a map shows on the day.

How long is the drive from LAX to the Hollywood Hills?

The drive from LAX to the Hollywood Hills typically takes 30 to 45 minutes late at night and 1 hour to 1 hour 50 minutes at the Tuesday afternoon peak, measured at the Mulholland Drive ridge. The second point we measured, Lake Hollywood Drive, ran 40 to 55 minutes late at night and up to 2 hours 5 minutes at that same peak. All typical, per Google traffic estimates.

Is there a shuttle from LAX to Hollywood?

Shuttle companies do run from LAX, and a shuttle from LAX to Hollywood sets its own stops, timetable and price, so you may wait for other passengers and stop along the way. iRide360 does not operate one. We are a private car service: your party travels alone, at the time you choose, to the street address you give us.

What is the cheapest way to get from LAX to Hollywood?

The cheapest way to get from LAX to Hollywood depends on your group size, your luggage and the hour you land, so compare public transit, a shared shuttle, a rideshare and a taxi on your own travel day. Travelers who want to see Los Angeles without a car usually mix transit with booked rides. An iRide360 private car starts at $137 by executive sedan, door to door.

How much does an Uber or a taxi cost from LAX to Hollywood?

Only the app or the meter can show you those prices, because rideshare fares move with demand and a taxi runs on a meter, so neither is reliably cheaper than the other. An Uber from LAX to the Hollywood Hills is also collected at the LAX-it lot rather than at your own terminal. With iRide360 the fare is fixed at booking, from $137 by executive sedan, and we meet you at your terminal.

How do you get from LAX to the Hollywood Sign?

The Hollywood Sign's own site names exactly two viewpoints, and neither of them sits inside the Hollywood Hills. One is Ovation at Hollywood and Highland, on the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue; the other is in Los Feliz. Book an LAX to Hollywood Sign ride to a named viewpoint address rather than to a residential street, and your chauffeur sets you down somewhere built for visitors.

At LAX

Where will my chauffeur meet me at LAX?

Your chauffeur meets you at your own terminal: on the lower-level Arrivals curb, or inside with a name sign if you added meet-and-greet at booking. Arriving into the Tom Bradley International Terminal? Look in the arrivals hall past customs, or at the lower-level curb. Our LAX airport car service dispatch answers on (833) 743-3360 if your chauffeur is not in sight.

Do I need to go to LAX-it?

No. iRide360 riders never use LAX-it, the lot LAX sends rideshare passengers to. As a prearranged licensed carrier we collect you at your own terminal, so you do not cross the airport with your bags and you board nothing between the terminal and the car. If you are collecting a rental car instead, that is a separate airport service, and not one an iRide360 LAX car service takes part in.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

A delayed flight costs you nothing and needs no phone call. Flight tracking is included on every iRide360 airport booking, so we follow the flight number you gave us and move the pickup to the real landing time at no charge. Your 60 complimentary minutes begin when the wheels touch down, not at the time you booked. After that hour, waiting is $1 per minute.

How long will you wait for me after I land?

Your chauffeur waits 60 complimentary minutes from the moment your flight lands at LAX, which covers immigration, baggage claim and a slow carousel. After that it is $1 per minute. A pickup at a Hollywood Hills address includes 15 minutes of free wait instead. Need longer? Call dispatch on (833) 743-3360 and we will arrange it.

Timing

When should I leave the Hollywood Hills for my flight at LAX?

Leave about three hours and five minutes before a 6:00 AM domestic flight, which means a Hollywood Hills to LAX pickup near 2:55 AM. A 1:00 PM domestic flight means a pickup around 9:15 AM, and a 10:30 PM international flight means about 5:10 PM. Every one of those times already includes a 20-minute safety buffer on top of the slow end of our measured drive.

What happens on a Red Flag Day in the Hollywood Hills?

On a declared Red Flag Day, parking is strictly prohibited in posted areas inside the Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones, and illegally parked vehicles will be towed. LAFD declares one when winds reach 25 mph or more and humidity falls to 15% or less, and publishes the current status at lafd.org/redflag. Call dispatch on (833) 743-3360 and we will agree a meeting point before the day.

Service

What is the best car service from LAX?

The best LAX car service for you is the one that passes four checks: a California CPUC license number you can look up, a fare fixed before you travel, flight tracking, and pickup at your own terminal rather than a separate lot. Measured against that list, iRide360 holds TCP 43833-A, fixes the fare at booking, tracks every arriving flight, waits 60 minutes free, and is rated 5.0★ on Google.

Is there a Hollywood Hills black car service to and from LAX?

Yes. iRide360 runs a Hollywood Hills black car service in both directions, every day. Each Hollywood Hills car service booking is a black executive sedan or a full-size luxury SUV driven by a licensed, insured chauffeur, held to the same black car service Los Angeles standard as every other iRide360 run. There are no shared rides and no surge prices, and you choose the vehicle class when you book.

Do you run a Hollywood Hills limo service?

iRide360 is a black car service, so a Hollywood Hills limo service with us means the private, chauffeured airport limousine experience in a black executive sedan or a luxury SUV. We do not operate stretch limousines, vans or buses. If your party needs more seats than one luxury SUV holds, call dispatch on (833) 743-3360 and we will send more than one car.

Vehicles

Which vehicle should I book, and can I add a child seat or a stop?

Pick by bags as much as by head count: an executive sedan takes up to 3 passengers and 3 bags, and a luxury SUV takes up to 5 passengers and 5 bags. Child seats, booster, forward-facing and rear-facing, are from $25 each on request. Extra stops are priced for the distance and time they add. Add either when you book an LAX town car service with us.

Booking

How far ahead should I book, and can I change it?

Book as soon as your flight is confirmed. That holds your vehicle class and any child seats, and it lets dispatch plan the pickup against your own street. You can change the pickup time, the address or the vehicle online or through dispatch on (833) 743-3360, and you see the new fare if the price moves. Flight delays need no call at all.
